Challenge: As obesity is growing at an alarming rate our collective ambition was to be the first major nation to reverse the rising tide of obesity in the population by ensuring that everyone is able to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The Change For Life campaign looked to get out to the British public and educate young children and parents about ‘healthy eating’ in a fun and engaging way.
Delivery: Mash were tasked with bringing the concept to life and in front of the key demographic of 6 to 12 year olds (and their parents).
Three teams of trained core staff travelled around the country for 8 weeks visiting top end grocers (Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons and Asda). The team visited over 100+ TEGs during the duration of the tour and interacted with over 100,000 consumers.
The activity proved to be a huge success with qualitative research indicating a huge shift in eating habits and children's perception around what good nutrition meant.
